Testing

Testing Your Deutsch-Drahthaar

The VDD-GNA chapter conducts JGHV (Jagdgebrauchshundverband) tests that evaluate a dog’s hunting abilities, temperament, and versatility. These tests are an important part of the Deutsch-Drahthaar breeding program, ensuring that only dogs with excellent hunting characteristics and temperament are bred.

The Midwest North Chapter conducts testing events throughout the year in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. Our Director of Testing can help you with information about upcoming tests and registration requirements.
